at the end of this stage the main road will split into 2 paths. you get to choose between the luck path which is located to the left, or the skill path which is located to the right

after choosing a path, there's a sign that spawns saves by reading it. it says the following:

after this you won't be able to return, but are you ok with that?
don't you think it's a good idea to backup your saves just in case?

what this basically means is that this is not a hub, therefore you can only take one path. if you intend to do both paths, then this is the one spot to make your save backup as the sign has already stated. otherwise you can ignore this and continue playing
